101 Things in 1001 Days!

In the vein of Design Darling, I am keeping a list of 101 things I'd like to accomplish in the next 1001 days. 1001 days (2.75 years) is the perfect amount of time to get around to some things I've never tried, but to not rush the process at the same time.


1. Come up with 101 things. (Still have a few to go!)

2. Inspire someone else to write a 101 in 1001 list of their own.

3. Move into a big-girl apartment.

4. Swim in an infinity pool.

5. Get a dream job.

6. Ride in a helicopter.

7. Redesign my blog to make it a reflection of my personal style.

8. Get a puppy.

9. Clean out magazine collection and organize articles/photos in scrapbook.

10. Be able to better define my aesthetic, in both fashion and interior design.

11. Scrutinize the contents of my closet and donate, store, or toss all the things I never wear.

12. Throw my first dinner party.

13. Go skinny dipping.

14. Clean out computer hard drive.

15. Take a self-defense class. (Currently a Yellow Belt in Karate.  BAM. 8/2012)

16. Take a ballroom dance class.

17. Attend one show at New York Fashion Week.

18. See a space shuttle fly.

19. Drink eight glasses of water every day for one week.

20. Go wine tasting.
 
21.  Ride in a hot-air balloon.

22. Re-read The Great Gatsby...for pleasure.

23. Send fifty handwritten notes.

24. Learn to eat with chopsticks.

25. Sing karaoke.

26. Watch all of a Game of Thrones.

27. Find a good vanilla chai recipe and make it from scratch.

28. Plant an herb garden. (Basil, mint, and lavender! 5/20/12)
 
29. Subscribe to all those magazines I usually buy at newsstand prices anyway.

30. Get a maxi dress. (Maybe an OOTD soon?  5/19/12)

31. Learn how to do a french twist.

32. Take a drive through hunt country.

33. Hire a personal trainer.

34. Make an address book with contact information for family and friends.

36. Figure out the best way to store all those business cards. (Furbish box, 1/12/13)

37. See a Cirque du Soleil performance.

38. Recognize someone who's made a difference.

57. Prepare a meal using ingredients bought at a farmers' market.

60. Read a Jane Austen novel.

61. Learn calligraphy.

62. Get a facial.

63. Order room service.

64. Try one totally-out-of-my-comfort-zone exercise class.

67. Buy a pretty bicycle.

69. Read twenty new books.
72. Love three new music artists.

73. Try parkour.

74. Find my signature scent.

75. Throw a surprise party for a friend.

78. Find a skincare regimen that works for me.

79. Take a trip to Canada.

95.  Learn archery.

96. Post an outfit of the day of my blog.

97. Find out my blood type.
